My Dear, Be Aware is an EP containing three movements which all explore
the manipulation and transgression of synthetic material in a unique way.
As a study of spatialisation and spectralism, I enhanced; texture, time, and
timbre through these movements. In creating this EP I had two things in
mind.

The first aim was to create a composition using intense stereo/headphone
listening in order to immerse the listener. The second aim was to make the
listener aware of the tangibility of sound. A spectralised form of touch.

The lack of ‘music’, rather the structural composition of sounds is dynamic
and theatrical allowing the listener to be hyper-aware of sound as a
concept. In aiming to appeal to a wider audience I titled this EP My Dear, Be
Aware. Dedicated to my loved ones who have not come across this music
before, I hope to make people aware of the vibrancy of sound in a post
Musique concrète world.
